This berry fruit bowl has a mixture of textures and flavors that are berry, berry good. I don't know what it is about berries, but they are one of my favorite fruits, especially when they are in season!

Greek yogurt and honey are the base creamy layer to this delicious berry bowl. I prefer to mix the honey and greek yogurt together before adding the berries. Substitute maple syrup for honey. Substitute any yogurt- Greek yogurt, full-fat, nonfat, coconut, etc. If you have homemade yogurt on hand, that's great too!

My local grocery store has sweet karoline blackberries in season right now, which is one of my favorite berries to add! Strawberry season peaks locally in April, May, and June, so I take advantage of those bright red strawberries this time of year too! I use strawberries on top of my morning protein oatmeal, in Greek yogurt bowls, or in my favorite iced strawberry matcha latte.

Optional ingredients you can add to this berry bowl are sliced almonds, unsweetened coconut, granola, chia seeds, and sliced banana. Unsweetened coconut flakes are different from shredded sweetened coconut. I personally prefer the unsweetened coconut texture and flavor.

Once they are dry, add them to individual containers. The yogurt-honey base is best if put at the bottom of the bowl with the berries on top. Keep the toppings in a separate bag until ready to serve!
