Strawberry Pomegranate Smoothie

This vegan strawberry pomegranate smoothie is made with bananas, pomegranate arils, blueberry, strawberries, dates, and flaxseeds.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • cups of frozen strawberries about 12 strawberries
  • cup pomegranate seeds
  • cup frozen blueberries
  • 5 sukkari dates or 2 Medjool dates
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed optional
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients into the blender.
  • Fill the blender with water that's just enough to cover the fruit (about 2 cups).
  • Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Taste and check the consistency. If wanting a sweeter smoothie, add more dates. If wanting a thinner smoothie, add more water.

Notes

  • This smoothie can be stored in the fridge for up to 10 hours, so it can be made ahead of time the night before.
