Lebanese  Kishk Porridge

Kishk soup is made with kishk powder, ground lamb, water, onion, and garlic.

Dice the onion. Set aside.

Chop the fresh garlic. Set aside.

Caramelize the diced onions in olive oil on medium high heat on the stovetop (about 5 to 7 minutes). Add the minced lamb and chopped garlic.

Cook the ground meat until crispy (about 10 minutes). Once the meat starts to crackle, add the kishk powder and water.

Add more water if desired for a thinner consistency. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.
