Lebanese Crunchy Fried Falafel

Falafel is vegan, a great snack, and a delicious substitute for meat. It's crunchy, flavorful, and easy to make at home.

Soak the dried chickpeas for 24 hours.  Drain the chickpeas. Add the onion, parsley, spices, and garlic to the food processor.

Pulse in the food processor until a thick paste is formed. Mix with baking soda in a bowl. Use a falafel scoop to make patties.

Get the falafel patties ready prior to heating up the oil.

Heat up the oil in a pot on the stove. Fry the falafel balls until golden. Place on a paper towel.
