Homemade Tahini Paste

Homemade tahini paste is made from three ingredients: toasted sesame seeds, salt, and a neutral-tasting oil.

This tahini sesame paste can be made in 10 minutes and lasts for 6 months.

Toast raw sesame seeds on medium-low heat.

Take the sesame seeds off the stove once the color starts to change colors.

Add the toasted sesame seeds to a food processor. Blend on high.

The seeds will start to clump together.

Add a stream of oil while the sesame seeds are blending. Add a some salt.

Stop the food processor once the tahini sesame paste reaches desired consistency.

For ultra smooth tahini, add the tahini paste to a blender. This is optional and not required.
