Chopped Shirazi Salad

Shirazi salad originated in the town of Shiraz in southern Iran.

Persian shirazi salad, aka salad shirazi, is a finely chopped cucumber and tomato salad with dried crushed mint, olive oil, and lemon juice.

Scoop out the Roma tomatoes seeds. 

Finely chop the Roma tomatoes. Set aside.

Finely chop the Persian cucumbers. Set aside.

Finely chop the red onion. Set aside.

Add the chopped tomatoes, Persian cucumbers, and red onion to a bowl.

Squeeze the lemons.

Add dried mint to the lemon juice.

Add mint lemon juice to the chopped salad. Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together and serve immediately.
