Lamb Shank Foil Packets

These tender, roasted lamb shanks are slow-cooked in foil packets for 4 hours with carrots, potatoes, garlic, and onions.

Marinate lamb shanks in yogurt and spices. Chop up onions, carrots, and potatoes.

Add vegetables on parchment paper. Add the marinated lamb shank.

Place the wrapped parchment paper on top of foil.

Tightly wrap the lamb shanks and chopped vegetables. Wrap a second foil tightly.

Place the lamb shanks in a baking tray. Put in a 300 ℉ or 150 ℃ for 4 hours. Yes, 4 hours!

Remove lamb shanks from the oven. Unwrap the foil. Put them back in the oven under the broil for 2 to 4 minutes.
