Harissa Lamb Chili

This Moroccan-inspired harissa lamb chili is a perfect blend of spiced ground lamb, carrots, golden raisins, tomatoes, chickpeas, and couscous.

Make the couscous on top of the chili using a steamer tray, or prepare the couscous separately.

Brown the chopped onions and minced garlic in some olive oil. Add the ground lamb, ground cumin, ground coriander, and salt.

Add the chopped carrots, golden raisins, canned tomatoes, and water (or broth). Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes.

Add canned chickpeas and kale. Cook fro another 5 to 10 minutes.

Add the chopped cilantro. Serve with couscous.
