Garlic Paste (Four Ways)

The four EASIEST ways to make garlic paste is by blender, food processor, mortar and pestle, and garlic press. 

The main ingredient for garlic paste is fresh garlic. Peel garlic or buy it pre-peeled from the grocery store.

Remove the stem from the garlic.

For the food processor method: Add garlic cloves, salt, and olive oil to a food processor.

Pulse on high. Stop and scrape down the sides. Pulse until well blended (about 2 mins).

For the blender method: Add garlic cloves, water, and salt to a blender. 

Blend on high until smooth.

For the mortar and pestle method: Add garlic and salt to a bowl. 

Crush the garlic until a paste forms.

Scoop out the paste with a spoon.

Garlic press: Add garlic clove to a garlic press. Squeeze until the garlic is crushed. Scrape it off.

Store garlic paste in freezer bags.
