French Toast Casserole

French toast casserole is the perfect holiday breakfast that can be made the night before. It's made with bakery brioche, brown sugar, butter, milk, eggs, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and salt.

Crack the eggs into a large mixing bowl.

Whisk the eggs. Add the milk.

Add half of the brown sugar, half of the pumpkin spice, a pinch of salt, and the vanilla extract.

Mix everything really well.

Cut the bakery brioche into large cubes of bread about 1.5" in diameter.

Place the cubed brioche bread in a greased casserole dish. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the bread.

Slice the butter into thin slivers and place in a single layer on the bread. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar and pumpkin spice. Let the casserole sit for 20 minutes (or overnight in the fridge covered).

Bake at 375℉ (190 ℃) for about 30 minutes or until golden. Top with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
