Adas Bi Hamod

Adas bi hamod is a delicious lemony lentil soup made with brown lentils, swiss chard, garlic, carrots, potatoes, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and sumac.

The lemon juice and sumac make this lentil soup tangy.

Add the brown lentils and water to a large pot. Bring to a boil. Boil for about 12 minutes until the lentils start to soften.

Add the chopped carrots and potatoes. Boil for another 8 to 10 minutes.

Once the potatoes and carrots soften, add the swiss chard. Let everything come to a boil.

Mix in the lemon juice, crushed garlic, olive oil, salt, and sumac.

Let everything boil for about 5 to 6 minutes so the flavors infuse.
