Description

This 5 minute Vitamix pomegranate smoothie recipe is packed full of antioxidants and nutrients, not to mention toddler-approved.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1.5 cups of frozen strawberries (about 12 strawberries)
  • 2/3 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 5 sukkari dates or 2 Medjool dates
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed (optional)
  • water (about 2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into the blender.
  2. Fill the blender with water that's just enough to cover the fruit (about 2 cups).
  3. Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Taste and check the consistency. If wanting a sweeter smoothie, add more dates. If wanting a thinner smoothie, add more water.
  5. Pour into a cup and enjoy!

Notes

  • This smoothie can be stored in the fridge for up to 10 hours, so it can be made ahead of time the night before.
