Description

Here’s my all-time hands-down favorite almond milk with Vitamix. If you are looking for a milk alternative- try it! It’s easy, creamy, and homemade.


Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • vanilla extract
  • 46 dates
  • 10 cups water
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Soak almonds in water overnight if possible. Discard water.
  2. Add 3 cups of water, dates and almonds into Vitamix blender.
  3. Blend on high.
  4. Add 7 more cups of water, a pinch of salt, and vanilla extract.
  5. Blend on high.
  6. Optional to add nutmeg and/or cinnamon if desired.
  7. Optional to substitue agave or honey in lieu of dates.

Notes

  • Use raw almonds. 
  • Strain with a cotton cloth fabric.
  • Use a Vitamix blender to blend properly.
