Vitamix Almond Milk With Dates

Description

Here's my all-time hands-down favorite Vitamix almond milk made with dates. If you are looking for a Whole30 and Paleo compliant milk alternative- try it! It's easy, creamy, and homemade.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds (about 2 ounces)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 Sukari dates or 2 Medjool dates
  • 5 cups of water
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the almonds in water overnight (or for 3 hours prior) if possible. Discard water.
  2. Add 2.5 cups of water, dates, and almonds into the Vitamix blender.
  3. Blend on high for 30 seconds.
  4. Add 2.5 more cups of water, a pinch of salt, and vanilla extract.
  5. Optional to add nutmeg and/or cinnamon if desired.
  6. Blend on high for 1 minute.
  7. Strain with a cotton cloth fabric.
  8. Pour into an airtight carafe.
