Homemade  Chicken Shawarma

Homemade chicken shawarma is made with sliced chicken, garlic paste, shawarma seasoning, salt, vinegar, tomatoes, and onion.

Slice the chicken into thin strips. Add the shawarma spice, salt, vinegar, and garlic paste.

Mix until the chicken pieces are well coated in the shawarma marinade.

While the chicken is marinading, slice the tomatoes.

Slice the onions.

In a large baking dish, add the marinated shawarma, sliced tomatoes, and sliced onions.

Mix well. Place in a 425 F (220 C) oven for 40 minutes.

Mix at the halfway mark to make sure the chicken cooks evenly.

The shawarma meat should be tender and juicy.

Serve the chicken shawarma as a wrap or  bowl. To make a shawarma pita, add shawarma, fries, pickles, and toum to Lebanese bread.
