These garlic ginger chicken teriyaki meatballs are made with ground chicken breast, carrots, onion, green onion, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and fresh ginger then baked in the oven.
These baked chicken teriyaki meatballs are packed full of flavor. Garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, onion, honey, carrots, and green onion are mixed with ground chicken.
Zest the carrot, garlic, and ginger. Alternatively, the garlic and ginger can be mashed into a paste with a mortar and pestle if they are hard to zest.
Finely chop the green onion and onion.
Add the chopped green onion, onion, grated carrots, ginger, garlic, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, honey, salt, and pepper to the ground chicken.
Mix everything really well together.
Using a cookie scoop or large spoon, place the meatballs on a parchment paper line baking sheet.
Bake the chicken teriyaki meatballs into the oven at 425 ℉ (218 ℃) for 20 to 25 minutes.
