Sauteed Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp

This sautéed lemon garlic butter shrimp is a 15-minute weeknight meal.

Wash, peel, and devein shrimp.

Pat dry the shrimp.

Mash garlic and salt together with a mortar and pestle.

Mash the garlic until completely pulverized.

Melt butter in a stovetop pan on medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp to the butter. Salt and pepper the top of the shrimp. Once the shrimp starts changing colors, add the mashed garlic to the pan.

Flip the shrimp.

Squeeze lemon on top.

Cover until the shrimp is cooked through (about one minute).
