Beef Lasagna  Tomato Sauce

This slow-simmered beef tomato sauce is made with ground beef, blended tomatoes, onion, garlic, carrots, celery, red wine, salt, olives, olive oil, and a bay leaf.

In a large pot, add the olive oil on medium hight heat. Add the chopped onion, carrots, celery, and minced garlic.

Add the ground beef, breaking up the clumps.

Add the diced olives, salt, red wine (if using), and bay leaf.

Pour the blended tomatoes. Mix everything together and cover it with a lid. Slow simmer for two hours.
