Labneh Dip with  Mashed Garlic

5-minute garlic labneh is an easy way to dress up your labneh into something special. Smear it on a toasted bagel or dip into it with some pita chips!

This recipe needs just four ingredients: labneh, fresh garlic, salt, and olive oil (optional). Use store-bought labneh or make labneh from scratch by straining yogurt with a cloth for 6 to 8 hours.

The best way to crush the garlic into a paste is using a mortar and pestle. Add the peeled garlic clove into a mortar with some salt.

Pulverize the garlic into a paste with the pestle. It's important the garlic is a paste rather than chopped so it can easily disperse into the labneh.

Scoop the garlic paste out of the mortar. All you need is just a little bit. One garlic clove mashed is good for 1/2 a cup of labneh.

Add the mashed garlic to the labneh.

Mix well so the garlic is evenly dispersed. You don't want large chunks of garlic! Smear onto some toast or drizzle olive oil on top.
